Well hello there everyone! Glad we are back here together again.
Today I’m sharing a couple of cards I made using stencils to give me a bokeh effect. Bokeh is a photography effect where the background is blurred and out of focus. This usually results in circles or dots of light in various sizes. Bokeh is an aestheticaly pleasing look in photography that I thought would look great on a card.
To create this effect, I used the Layered Confetti Stencils from Simon Says Stamp. This is a 3-part stencil set, with each stencil having different sized circles. Layered up, these stencils give you a beautiful bokeh effect. I used the stencils in 2 different ways and put it all together in a video for you.
