Raid Your Stash: Pattern Paper Cards

Hey Friends! Are you like me- hoarding a large stash of patterned paper? No. Just me? Let me explain.

I used to be big into scrapbooking – 12 X 12 scrapbooking. I accumulated a large amount of specialty papers that I was afraid to use because I knew I would never find them again. A decade later…. I’m ready to use some of them.

For today’s cards, I pulled out a couple sheets of beautiful papers from Photoplay. I picked these papers, along with several others, at a craft expo. I was drawn to the colors and how there was a little bit of the whole color spectrum in the pattern.

In order to let the pattern be the focal point, I kept the sentiment large, but simple. The “Hello”sentiment from Pink Fresh Studio fits this cheery paper perfectly. I left a little space at the bottom to add so that when I use the card, I can add a smaller sentiment if I choose.

So I encourage you to raid your stash and pull out those patterned papers. Blow off the dust and make something beautiful!

Enjoy!
