Hey everyone! How’s it going? Good I hope.
So last week, TDC celebrated Color Me A Rainbow Week, which highlighted the rainbow and all the beauty they offer. So I thought it would be good to do a round up of all the projects I posted over on Instagram in case you missed them. Let’s dive in.

A Rainbow of Rainbows
The first card I shared was A Rainbow of Rainbows. It’s a beautiful array of solid colored rainbows in colors that make a rainbow. Neat, huh! But there is more going on in this card because I used some products and techniques that I don’t usually use or do.
- It’s a slimline card (I hardly ever make this size)
- I used a blue Distress Spray to create the background
- I used the Time Holtz paper distress to create the tattered edges on the rainbows
This was my first time using the “Hello Rainbow” wafer die from Simon Says Stamp. Using it with solid colored cardstock works well and looks great. The other pards of the rainbow come from the “Rainbow Is My Favorite Color” stamp and die set also from Simon Says Stamp.

The Rainbow Card That Almost Wasn’t
This was the video of the week so there is a whole separate post on this card. Check it out HERE to see how perseverance got this card completed.

A Rainbow of Butterflies
Y’all know that I have a deep love affair with the Pinkfresh Studio butterfly collection. So you should not be surprised that the small butterflies showed up in this week’s creations. I have to be honest that this is my favorite card from the week. The pierced background adds just the right amount of interest to support the rainbow of butterflies. The simple hot foiled sentiment finished off the card in the best way.

Watercolor Rainbows BONUS VIDEO
To go along with this inaugural Rainbow Week, I dropped a BONUS VIDEO on YouTube. This is a different format for me, with some soft music playing in the background while my creative process unfolds. I decided to use watercolors this time. I’ll continue to do this type of video from time to time. To catch this one on my YouTube channel, click this link.
I hope you all enjoyed Color Me A Rainbow Week. I sure did! Until next time…Enjoy!
