Hey everyone! I wanted to share that I was spotted by Hero Arts for one of my cards at the end of June! I know this is a very late post but better late than never, right?!
This card was inspired by a picture one of my friends took on her first night in Hawaii. The picture just took my breath away and I knew I had to make it into a card. I used several stamp sets from Hero Arts to create the scene. The palm tree is from the Color Layering Pam Tree Cuts and the cloud is from the Color Layering Sea and Sky. I added a mountain from the Color Layering Mountains at the Lake Frame Cuts to round out the elements.
What pulls this card all together is the ink blended sky in the vibrant oranges and yellows. I blended several Distress Inks until I felt like the sky looked like fire. So beautiful!
Check out the Hero Arts blog post featuring my card as well as several wonderful creations by clicking HERE. And let me know what you think of this card in the comments below. Have you ever found inspiration in a picture? I’d love to know.
Now I get to proudly sport this image! What a blessing! Until next time – Enjoy!
