Hey everyone! I’m back on the blog with you sharing some an idea of how to stretch your stamps and dies.
A couple of months ago, I purchased the Pop Out Straight Lines stamp and dies from Pink Fresh Studio. They are a great basic investment with countless applications and uses. When I was considering purchasing them, an idea came to mind of “I wonder if I could turn these on an angle and get a different look???” And with the card in this post, that’s exactly what I did.

I wish I could say that I could pull this off all by myself. I cannot. I used the Creative Corners accessory set with my MISTI 2.0. The Creative Corners set is a set of inserts that can be placed in any MISTI to expand how you can use it. I used the triangle piece to turn my stamp at an angle which allowed to stretch the use of the stamp.

Then I went to work with the stamping. I used several colors of Distress Ink in shades of blue to ink the Pop Out Straight Lines stamp for the background. Once I completed that, it was on to the flowers.

I used the same shades of blue to stamp the flowers. These flowers are a part of the Celebrate Us stamp and die set, also from Pink Fresh Studio. I didn’t want the leaves for this card so once I finished the flowers, I pulled out the die to cut. While the die is made to cut the the flower and the leaves, I used it to cut just the flower. This stretches the die to do more than intended. I later fussy cut what would have been the leaves off of the die cut image.

The sentiment came from the Simply Sentiments stamp set from, you guessed it, Pink Fresh Studio. I popped up the flowers, added the sentiment and this card was complete. I think this came together so lovely and will definitely be using the Creative Corners with this stamp again soon.
