Hello everyone! Have you all seen the new Horizon Line stencil from Simon Says Stamp?! This stencil was designed by Kristina Werner and let me tell you, sis was in her bag with this one. This stencil is pure genius! It has been a long time since I was this impressed with a craft product. Let me tell you why.
At first glance, the stencil looks a lot like many other stencils you may have seen. You may even think that you need to cut it apart to use it. I urge you to resist doing that. This stencil needs to stay in tact because that is how you get the most out out of it.
The genius of the stencil is that it can be used as both a stencil AND a mask. With so many horizon lines to choose from, you have an endless amount of options of how to use and create with this stencil. Changing the colors can change the time of day and the time of year. I’ve made a few cards with the stencil and I haven’t even begun to exhaust the endless amount of creativity that can come from using this stencil.
The best part about the stencil is the price point – it’s only $6.99!!! Stop the madness! I can think of at least a dozen different ways to use this stencil which makes this price point that much more insane. Grab this stencil and grab it now!

The best way to share the genius of this stencil is to show you how you can use it. In this week’s video, I do just that as I use the stencil to create a one layer card. Click HERE to be taken to YouTube to watch the video.
